We were invited down to the Pride Parade in London to accompany The Quailors' big return, as well as their groundbreaking event hosted at The Deck on Friday evening—the first ever Pride event to be held on Savile Row.
The Quailors is the tailoring trade’s community of LGBTQIA+ tailors and their allies. It has been set up to bring together—and give a voice to—the tailors and craftspeople on Savile Row and beyond that identify as LGBTQIA+.
They are here to show young people pursuing a path into tailoring that the industry is more progressive, and certainly more inclusive, than previous perception may suggest.
